Blue Majik

I ran across an article in Shape’s Oct 2017 edition talking about Blue Majik that is popping up at smoothie shops. It looks artificial, but it’s actually an extract of spirulina which is a nutrient rich algae that has B vitamins and antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Blue algae contains 22 times more spinach and six times more antioxidants than blueberries, 5x more beta-carotene than carrots and 6x more calcium than cow’s breast milk.

After doing a search for it online, it appears you can mix the powder in with anything you like. I’m thinking it might be a good addition to my fruit shakes I made some mornings.
