Lots of Walnuts

There is abundance all around us.
God is a God of abundance and the author of abundance. Look at the sky. Can you count the stars? How about the sand? Look at how things grow. Look at a walnut tree. Does it just produce one walnut and it’s done? Of course not. As a matter of fact, a mature acre of walnut trees can produce up to 6000 pounds. That is approximately 672,000 walnuts! There is abundance all around, even in the desert. The desert is a lot like life itself. At first glance, all we see is dry soil that seems to be unproductive. But when we look more closely, we find an abundant source of life.
There is abundance all around you, do you see it?
If you don’t have abundance in your life, there is a reason. Usually, it’s because there is a violation of one or more laws.
What do I mean? I’m glad you asked. For example, God teaches us to be in debt to no man except to love one another. We violate this law when we go into debt using credit cards and don’t pay off the full balance each month.
Another law is the law of giving. To receive abundantly you must give. If you never give, you’ll receive little to nothing. (Ecclesiastes 11: 1 & 2). There are many laws that God has set into place for our abundance. We act according to His will, we are blessed. When we don’t…well, it won’t go well.
There are so many fascinating laws. When we pay attention and know how they operate, then we can get our lives in alignment with them for a good life, an abundant life.

…Spend your time bringing your life into harmony with divine law. Work on overcoming evil with good, falsehood with truth, hatred with love.” – Peace Pilgrim

We can find the laws of abundance in nature because of who made nature. God. We can find the principles of the law of abundance in His life manual. We call it The Holy Bible. I have witnessed many people throughout my life, and the majority of them that have abundance is because they have aligned themselves up with the principles of abundance even if they didn’t know it. The only other instance I’ve seen of abundance is from people in power that have stolen from others, and their abundance does not last, or their lives don’t last long. So, the abundance I’m referring to is the abundance that will bring joy and peace with wealth, not obtained by ill-gotten ways that don’t bring lasting happiness.

Principle: Having more of something doesn’t make you happy for long. Most people think “If only I could make more money, then I’d be happy.” What happens? You make more, and you’re still not happy. Choose to be happy now. Once you do, when you do have more, you’ll still be happy, and if that more goes away, you’ll still be happy. Having more of something only brings an emotion of happiness for a very short period. When you are happy now, it transforms into joy. When we find joy, then that is lasting happiness. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Nehemiah 8:10. It’s more than an emotion, it’s a state of being. How do we get this joy? It’s found before verse 10.
So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. When you understand the laws of God, then that will bring joy because then you’ll be understanding the nature of God, and God Himself. When this happens you begin a relationship with Him, in knowing how good He is, and how He has the best for you in His intentions for you. ”
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. ” – Jeremiah 29:11 Once we know Him, (not just of Him) we are grateful. When we are grateful we draw to us abundance, including wealth. Let me make it clear here so you don’t misunderstand me. I’m am not saying that a person that doesn’t possess wealth must not know God otherwise he/she would have abundant wealth. There are many people who we consider poor because they don’t have material possessions, that are very wealthy. Many choose not to have possessions, and that is alright too. Also, there are other ways to measure wealth other than possessions. A person that lives in a country where there is little to possess, but daily has plenty of food in some manner, would be considered wealthy. Others perhaps that have clean water, would be considered wealthy. Wealth and abundance is a relative term.

What we are talking about here in this introduction is really the first step in abundance. Your thoughts. Bringing your thoughts into obedience to the will of God. This is really where we must all begin. For if we refuse to open our eyes and see the abundance around us, we will never have it, and the only way to see it is to change your thought process. Reading the Laws of Abundance will not make you abundant. But reading, knowing, and aligning your life to the laws will bring abundance into your life. So, without further adieu, lets begin:
